This hiking route takes you through the stunning scenery of the Dolomites in Italy. The starting point is at the beautiful Pragser Wildsee (Lago di Braies) which is a pristine alpine lake surrounded by majestic peaks. Make sure to take in the views before starting your hike.
As you begin your trek, you will pass by a parking area and the Rifugio Biella - Seekofelhütte alpine hut about 6 kilometers into the route. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some traditional alpine cuisine.
Continuing on, you will come across the Centro Studi montani - Winter dormitory, another alpine hut where you can spend the night if you wish. This is your destination point and marks the end of the route. The Centro Studi montani offers a cozy place to rest after a day of hiking in the mountains.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter various amenities such as a spring (Sorgente), a saddle (Forcella Sora Forno), and information points about the area. Be sure to take breaks as needed and stay hydrated, as the trail covers a distance of 12.587 kilometers with an elevation gain of 947 meters. The route is considered moderate in difficulty due to its length and elevation changes.
