Further along the trail at 3.1 kilometers, Rifugio Gardetta, an alpine hut, provides a cozy resting place with stunning views.
Continuing onwards, you will encounter the historic ruins of Caserma Vallo Alpino at 4.42 kilometers, showcasing the region's rich history. For a refreshing break, a water source is available at the 3.09-kilometer mark.
Midway through the hike, at 4.92 kilometers, you will reach Punta Eco, a natural peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. As you make your way back, make sure to stop by the Monumento caduti at 3.03 kilometers, paying homage to the fallen heroes.
