This hiking route takes you through the stunning Scaffa delle Rose area, offering breathtaking views and a challenging adventure. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 9.35 kilometers with an elevation gain of 525 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 28 minutes to complete.
As you begin your hike, you will come across the Capanno Tassoni alpine hut, located just 0.06 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey. Along the way, at 2.52 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Colle dell'Acquamarcia saddle, offering a beautiful natural landmark to admire.
Midway through the hike, at 4.68 kilometers from the start, you will find the Scaffa delle Rose peak, a must-see highlight of the trail. The peak provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a perfect place to take a break and soak in the beauty of the landscape.
Further along the trail, at 3.83 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Cima Tauffi peak, another fantastic vantage point offering spectacular views. As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the drinking water stations located at the beginning of the trail and 0.06 kilometers from the start to stay hydrated.
