Welcome to the hiking route to Turn peak, located in the beautiful area of the Julian Alps. This route is 11.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 2302 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Prisank peak, a natural wonder just 3.85 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at 0.04 kilometers from the beginning, you will come across the Koča na Gozdu alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning mountain views.
Along the way, you will also encounter informative points about the area's geology and wildlife. These points are located at various distances from the start, providing you with interesting insights into the region.
As you continue your ascent, you will pass by Zadnji Prisank peak and Zvoniki peak, both offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Midway through the hike, at 5.76 kilometers from the start, you will reach Škrbina v Zadnjem Prisojniku saddle, a perfect spot to rest before tackling the remaining trail.
The final stretch of the route takes you to Turn peak, where you can marvel at the beauty of Vrh Kraj sten peak and Kajzljeva škrbina saddle. These natural landmarks offer a sense of accomplishment as you reach the summit.
