This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding 大潭副水塘 Tai Tam Byewash Reservoir. The trail is 6.045 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 103 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you begin your journey, you will come across 淺水灣坳 Tsin Shui Wan Au, a natural saddle located 0.43 kilometers from the starting point. Along the way, you will find several information points providing insight into the surrounding area. These include 衛奕信徑第1段 Wilson Trail Section 1 at 0.44 kilometers, and various other information points at different distances from the trail.
At around 3.01 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a picnic site and a shelter for a well-deserved break. Continuing on, you will pass by a viewpoint at 3.02 kilometers, offering a stunning panoramic view of the reservoir.
It is recommended to bring an adequate water supply, as well as checking the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
