This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Strada bianca Tallacano-Poggio Rocchetta. With a distance of 17.18 kilometers and an elevation gain of 661 meters, this trail is rated as extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle. About 8.59 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It's a perfect spot to take a break and snap some photos.
Continuing on, at around 1.52 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the breathtaking Cascate di Forcella waterfall, a serene and picturesque sight to behold. Further along the trail, at 5.91 kilometers, you will find the historic ruins of Rovine di Case Casale, adding a touch of cultural interest to your hike.
Around 7.11 kilometers into the hike, there are drinking water stations available for hikers to refill their bottles and stay hydrated. Additionally, at 7.18 kilometers, you will find another drinking water station for your convenience.
