Welcome to the Route de Podestat hiking trail! This super easy 1.084-kilometer out-and-back route offers a leisurely stroll through a beautiful natural area.

As you start your hike, you'll find convenient parking facilities nearby at two locations, one right at the beginning of the trail and another about halfway through. Feel free to leave your car and begin your adventure on foot.

As you venture along the path, you'll come across a couple of water sources where you can refill your water bottle if needed. These refreshing stops are located at the 0.51-kilometer mark and again at 0.54 kilometers.

Along the way, you'll encounter some interesting points of interest. About 0.12 kilometers into the hike, you'll find an information center, providing insights into the area's history and wildlife. Further ahead, at the 0.33-kilometer mark, there's a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

As you near the end of the trail, you'll find more information centers at the 0.45-kilometer mark, providing additional details about the route and its surroundings. These spots offer a great opportunity to learn more about the area before heading back.

This route is perfect for hikers of all skill levels, thanks to its short distance and minimal elevation gain. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out. Enjoy your hike on the Route de Podestat!
