The trail starts at Parken Haselbergsteig und Thaurer Alm parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your journey. The first point of interest you'll encounter at 0.24 kilometers from the trail start is the Adolf Pichler Quelle, a drinking water source to refill your water bottles.

As you continue along the path, you'll come across several ruins dating back to historic times. At 1.11 kilometers from the start, you'll find the first set of ruins followed by an archaeological site at the same distance. These historical landmarks add an intriguing element to your hike, providing a glimpse into the past.

Along the trail, you'll also find informational points at various locations providing insights into the surroundings. These are perfect spots to take a break, learn more about the area, and appreciate the natural beauty around you. Additionally, benches are strategically placed along the route, offering hikers a place to rest and soak in the picturesque views.

Midway through your hike, at 3.15 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Vintl Alm, an alpine hut where you can take a break, enjoy some refreshments, and take in the stunning alpine scenery. This is a great spot to refuel before continuing your journey.
