Welcome to the hiking route to Brandriedel!

Brandriedel is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The hike is a circular route with a total distance of 4.121 kilometers and an elevation gain of 139 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across some points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Dachstein Südwandbahn parking area. About 1.28 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Austriahütte, an alpine hut and restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various facilities such as benches, picnic sites, and information points. These are great spots to rest, take in the views, and learn more about the area. Make sure to stay hydrated by filling up at the Trinkwasserbrunnen spring located about 0.45 kilometers from the trail.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the Brandriedel peak, located 1.9 kilometers into the route. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and snap some memorable photos.
