This challenging hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Sentier de l'Escala - Sentier de l'Escala. The trail spans a distance of 8.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 922 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Stationnement de Pée-Nouqué, a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting your hike. As you make your way further along the trail, you will pass by the Lac du Montagnon, a picturesque lake that is located approximately 4.22 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Midway through your hike, you will reach the Cabane Vieille de Cure deth Cam and Cabane Neuve de Cure deth Cam, two shelters where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Additionally, you will encounter peaks such as L'Escala and Pas de l'Escala, offering stunning views of the area.
Throughout the hike, you will have access to essential facilities and information points, such as Bas du Barca and Rocher de la Jonction. These points provide useful information and serve as landmarks to guide you along the trail.
