Welcome to the hiking trail of Sentier du Montagnon d'Iseye in the beautiful area surrounding Lac du Montagnon. This trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Stationnement de Pée-Nouqué parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to have enough water and supplies with you before starting the 8.877-kilometer trek.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. The Cabane Vieille de Cure deth Cam and Cabane Neuve de Cure deth Cam shelters provide a resting point for hikers midway through the trail. The Rocher de la Jonction and Rocher des Taillandères offer picturesque rock formations worth admiring.

For nature enthusiasts, there are various water bodies such as Lac du Montagnon and other small water points scattered along the trail. These are perfect spots to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.

The trail also features peaks like L'Escala and Seuil du Lac du Montagnon, providing stunning panoramic views of the area. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out, as the elevation gain of 922 meters makes this hike quite challenging.
