This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Sommet Lanabe, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at Stationnement de Pée-Nouqué.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Cabane Vieille de Cure deth Cam and Cabane Neuve de Cure deth Cam shelters, located 2.21 kilometers from the start. These shelters are ideal for a rest stop or overnight stay.
Along the trail, you will come across the Rocher de la Jonction rock formation, situated 0.95 kilometers from the start, providing a unique photo opportunity.
Further along the route, at around 3.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col d'Arriutort saddle and a water source. This is a good spot to refill your water bottles and take in the surrounding beauty.
For those seeking a challenge, the trail will take you to the Pic Lasnères peak at 4.8 kilometers from the start. The elevation gain will test your endurance, but the panoramic views from the top are rewarding.
At the end of the hike, you will reach the summit of Sommet Lanabe, also at 4.8 kilometers from the start. This is the highest point of the route, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding area.
