This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Chute de Rochers, known for its stunning landscapes and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the destination of Chute de Rochers - Danger - Sentier Interdit de l'Escala.
Starting at Stationnement de Pée-Nouqué, the trail begins with a gradual ascent into the wilderness. Along the way, you will come across Cabane Vieille de Cure deth Cam and Cabane Neuve de Cure deth Cam, providing shelter options for hikers. About midway through the hike, you will reach L'Escala, a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.
As you continue on, you will pass by several water sources such as Lac du Montagnon, providing a refreshing stop for a break. The trail also crosses through Pas de l'Escala and Col de la Taillandère, adding a bit of adventure to the hike.
