This moderate 5.45 km out-and-back hiking route takes you through the picturesque area near Belvédère Gorge Baudinard 2. The trail starts at a parking area and winds its way through the stunning landscape. Along the way, hikers will encounter various points of interest.
At the beginning of the hike, you will come across the Cabane du charbonnie, an old ruins site with historic significance, located approximately 1.43 km from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will find a picnic site and an information point about the area at around 1.72 km into the hike.
Midway through the route, you will have the opportunity to see the Four à charbon de bois ruins, an attraction rich in history, about 1.75 km from the start. Moving further along, you may pass by the Grotte du Castellas cave entrance, located 0.39 km off the trail.
Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 2.73 km from the start, you will reach the Belvédère Gorge Baudinard 1 and 3 viewpoints, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
