This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Belvédère 2. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 2.137 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners or those looking for a leisurely walk.
You will start your journey at the parking area located 0.13 kilometers from the trailhead. From there, you can enjoy a picnic at the nearby picnic site just a short distance away. As you continue on the trail, you will come across the stunning Lac d'Artignosc, a picturesque water feature located right at the beginning of the route.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter several viewpoints offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Be sure to stop at Belvédère 1, Belvédère 3, and the viewpoint at 0.76 kilometers into the hike to take in the scenic vistas.
If you're feeling hungry or in need of a break, there is a fast-food spot located at the trailhead for your convenience. Additionally, at 0.38 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a picnic site where you can rest and refuel before continuing on.
For a unique experience, make sure to visit the Abri sous roche du Promontoire, a cave entrance located at 0.95 kilometers into the hike. This natural wonder is a must-see along the trail.
