This difficult 9.277-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape of the Hirschnagel area. The hike includes an elevation gain of 549 meters and is estimated to take around 3 hours and 31 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Wanderparkplatz Regau parking area, conveniently located at the start of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before setting off. Approximately 3.89 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the majestic peak known as Rehleitenkopf. While it is not directly on the trail, it is worth a slight detour to admire the panoramic views.

Continuing onwards, at around 4.24 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle and staying hydrated. As you approach the midpoint of the hike, at 4.64 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Hirschnagel, the main highlight of the route. Take some time to rest and enjoy the breathtaking views from this vantage point.

On the way back, at 0.96 kilometers from the start, you will pass by another peak called Heuberg. While slightly off the trail, it offers another opportunity for exploration and stunning vistas.

Throughout the hike, it is essential to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast beforehand.
