Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Refugio Nogal del Barranco wilderness hut, perfect for a quick rest stop before continuing your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the Fuente del Llamaril drinking water station, providing a refreshing break for hikers.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Collado del Yermo saddle, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape. Nearby, the Cabeza del Covacho peak stands tall, showcasing the rugged beauty of the area.
