This hike will take you on a 10.076 km long circular route around Laghetto Caserina. The area is known for its natural beauty and breathtaking views. The trail has an elevation gain of 505 meters, making it a challenging hike that is suited for experienced hikers.
Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area with 24/7 access, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you make your way, you will pass by Bait Lago di Cece, a wilderness hut and shelter located 3.23 km from the start, offering a great resting spot to take in the surroundings.
Approximately 3.22 km into the hike, you will encounter Lago di Cece / Lach de Sés, a beautiful lake that is perfect for a quick break. Further along the trail at 4.65 km, you will also pass by Laghetto Caserina, another picturesque water feature that adds to the charm of the route.
Throughout the hike, there are informational points and drinking water stations available to provide you with essential information and keep you hydrated. It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
As you make your way back to the starting point, you will pass by Ponte di Valmaggiore, a notable bridge with historical significance. Finally, at the end of the trail, you will reach the parking area where you began your journey.
