This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Alps, offering breathtaking views and a challenging adventure. With a total distance of 38.406 kilometers and an elevation gain of 2549.0 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult, making it suitable for experienced hikers.
As you embark on this out-and-back journey, you will encounter numerous points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Ehrwalder Almbahn parking area, where you can safely leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you progress, you will come across the Gamsalmhütte, a cozy restaurant serving delicious meals, approximately 1.67 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail, at around 5.38 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the Münchner Haus, an alpine hut offering accommodation services for tired hikers. Midway through the hike, you will discover the Gatterl saddle, a natural feature that provides a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
