The Sentier des Couloirs is a beautiful circular hiking route located in a stunning area. The trail is approximately 2.158 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 101 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, you will find a parking area for your convenience. Further along, about 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will pass by another parking area with no fee.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 0.35 kilometers from the start, you will come across a viewpoint called La longue vue d'Alsace, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. Near the viewpoint, there is an information point about hiking trails in the area.
Towards the end of the hike, at 0.95 kilometers from the start, you will reach Le Sommet du Hohneck, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy the scenic views. Nearby, there is Auberge Hôtel Restaurant Le Pied du Hohneck, another restaurant offering sustenance.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter informational points, viewpoints, and a peak known as Hohneck.
