This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Three Sisters Pass area. Starting at the Old Goat Glacier Trailhead, the trail spans a total distance of 12.007 kilometers and boasts an elevation gain of 555.0 meters, so be prepared for a challenging trek.
Along the way, you'll come across the Spray Lakes West campsite and picnic site, located at 0.68 and 1.25 kilometers from the trailhead respectively. These are great spots to take a break, have a meal, and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
As you continue on, at around the 6-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Three Sisters Pass viewpoint, offering a breathtaking panoramic vista of the area. Take your time to soak in the beauty before heading back.
Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, as well as snacks and sturdy footwear. Given the difficulty of the trail, it's crucial to check the weather forecast and be well-prepared for the journey ahead.
