Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a convenient parking area just 1.88 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you'll encounter Sas Prunas, a drinking water point located 0.35 kilometers into the hike. Be sure to refill your water bottles here.

Further along the trail at 2.04 kilometers, you'll come across a historic wayside cross, providing a glimpse into the area's past. At 3.48 kilometers, you'll reach Punta Sos Nidos, a breathtaking peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

If you're up for a side adventure, Nurra Sas Palumbas cave entrance is located 2.97 kilometers into the hike, though it's slightly off the main trail. At 3.31 kilometers, a viewpoint offers a picturesque spot to take in the scenery.

As you approach the turnaround point at Punta Pedra Mugrones, a peak located 4.4 kilometers from the start, make sure to savor the incredible views before beginning your journey back.

With an elevation gain of 577 meters, this difficult hike is best suited for experienced hikers. Be prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks for the journey. Don't forget to check the weather forecast before heading out.
