This extremely difficult 12.845-kilometer circular hiking route takes you to the stunning Puig de Bassegoda area. With an elevation gain of 989.0 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart but offers breathtaking views and unique natural landmarks along the way.

Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will gradually make your way towards the Coll de Riu saddle, located at around 5.42 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding landscape before continuing your journey.

As you trek further, you will encounter the Font dels Ocellets spring at 5.4 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing stop to replenish your water supply. Keep an eye out for the informational point located at the same spot, offering insights into the area's history and natural features.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.22 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Puig de Bassegoda peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. Take your time to admire the scenery before heading back towards the starting point.

Along the way back, make sure to stop by the Font de Can Ral spring located at 5.46 kilometers from the start. This natural water source is a great place to rest and soak in the peaceful ambiance of the area.
