This extremely difficult 12.845-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the majestic Puig de Bassegoda area. Prepare for a challenging adventure with an elevation gain of 989 meters and a duration of approximately 5 hours and 26 minutes.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Font de Can Ral spring located at 5.46 kilometers from the start. Make sure to bring enough water as this spring is not directly on the trail. Midway through the hike at 5.42 kilometers from the start, you will reach Coll de Riu, a saddle offering a picturesque resting spot with breathtaking views.
At the 6.22-kilometer mark from the start, you will encounter the Puig de Bassegoda peak, a prominent natural formation that will reward you with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way back, you can refill your water supply at the Font dels Ocellets spring located at 5.4 kilometers from the start.
