This challenging hiking route takes you through the scenic area around lo Faro. The trail covers a distance of 8.628 kilometers with an elevation gain of 410 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey that will take around 3 hours to complete.
As you start your hike, you will pass by Viu de Llevata, a saddle located just 0.03 kilometers from the trail. Further along the trail, at 0.18 kilometers in, you will encounter the historic ruins of Santa Llúcia de Viu de Llevata, providing a glimpse into the area's past.
Midway through the hike, at 4.31 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of lo Faro, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and appreciate the beauty of the area.
Along the way back, you can explore other points of interest such as the Cova d'en Badia and Cova de la Figuera, cave entrances located 1.48 kilometers from the start.
