This challenging 9.853-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the beautiful landscape near Strgarjev vrh. The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey. As you begin your hike, you will pass by restaurant Rogina around the 0.33-kilometer mark, where you can grab a bite to eat if needed.

Continuing on, you will encounter the historic wayside shrine Sveti Boštjan at around 1.01 kilometers from the start. Make sure to take in the cultural significance of this site as you pass by. Further along the trail, at around 3.37 kilometers, you will find the natural peak Fidijev vrh, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

As you approach the 4.77-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak Strgarjev vrh, the destination of this hike. Take a moment to appreciate the accomplishment of reaching this point before beginning your descent back. Along the way, you will also come across other points of interest, such as wayside shrines, information points, and memorial sites.

With an elevation gain of 277.0 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as well as snacks to keep your energy up throughout the trek.
