This hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Lago del Forame. The trail covers a distance of 10.542 kilometers with an elevation gain of 719 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 4 hours and 14 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Bivacco di Malga Nuova shelter and a drinking water facility within the first kilometer. These are great spots to rest and hydrate before continuing on your adventure. Further along the trail, about midway at 3.05 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Ricovero del Cimon shelter for another opportunity to take a break.

Around the 4.14-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Forcella del Capitello saddle, a natural landmark that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to stop and soak in the beauty of this spot before continuing your hike.

As you approach Lago del Forame, which is located at 5.27 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with the sight of this stunning alpine lake. Take some time to relax by the water's edge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before starting your journey back.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across multiple drinking water facilities to refill your bottles and stay hydrated.
