This difficult 9.325-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the majestic Cimon del To della Trappola.

The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure. As you begin your hike, you will come across a wayside cross, a historical gem that marks the beginning of your journey.

Approximately 0.81 kilometers into the hike, you will find Bivacco di Malga Nuova, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Not far from the shelter, at 0.83 kilometers, there is a drinking water source available for hikers to refill their bottles.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across Forcella di Bombasel, a saddle located at 3.91 kilometers from the starting point. This natural feature offers a great spot to catch your breath and take in the views.

At the midway point of 4.66 kilometers, you will reach Cimon del To della Trappola, the peak that serves as the final destination of this hike. The peak provides a stunning panoramic view that is well worth the effort of the climb.

Along the way, you will pass by Baito Salera, another shelter where you can rest and refuel before heading back. Nearby, there is also a restaurant called Lo Chalet, perfect for a post-hike meal to replenish your energy.
