This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Route des Crêtes. The trail is super easy, with a total distance of 1.931 kilometers and an elevation gain of 75 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you'll come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.21 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a refreshing water source, perfect for refilling your bottles.

Around the same distance from the start, at 0.21 kilometers, you'll also pass by the Refuge Ski Club Cernay alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some stunning views of the surrounding area. Continuing on, at 0.9 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a viewpoint that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape.

As you trek further on the trail, at 0.27 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the historic boundary stone named 1W/401r. Be sure to capture some photos of this interesting landmark along the way.

Towards the end of the hike, at 0.83 kilometers from the start, you'll come across another historic boundary stone, however, this one is slightly off the trail. Feel free to explore it if you have some extra time.
