This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Laghetto dell'Abisso. The 4.725-kilometer trail offers a moderate level of difficulty, with an elevation gain of 354 meters.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Fontaine de Peyre fountain just 0.03 kilometers from the beginning. It's a nice spot to pause and take in the surroundings before continuing on. Further along the trail at 1.07 kilometers in, you'll reach Mont Bec Roux, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the area.
Around the 1.74-kilometer mark, you'll find the historic Fort de Giaure. While it's not directly on the trail, it's worth a slight detour to explore this fascinating landmark. As you approach the 2.23-kilometer point, you'll encounter a natural spring, providing a refreshing rest stop with water source nearby.
At the midway point of 2.36 kilometers, you'll reach Laghetto dell'Abisso, a picturesque lake that serves as the endpoint of the route. Take some time to relax by the water before heading back the way you came.
