This extremely difficult 12.115-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you through a challenging but rewarding terrain in the area around Kičelj. The trail starts at the parking area, located right on the trail, where you can easily begin your adventure.
As you make your way along the path, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, just 0.02 kilometers from the start, you will find Gradina, a historic castle that offers a glimpse into the region's past. Further along, at a distance of 6.06 kilometers from the start, you will reach Kičelj Peak, a natural wonder that promises breathtaking views.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across significant landmarks such as the Anton Raspor Španjolac memorial artwork and the Bojin and Veli Brig peaks. These sites, although not directly on the trail, provide insight into the cultural and natural heritage of the area.
At about 4.69 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a refreshing spring, perfect for replenishing your water supply. Additionally, there are parking areas along the route, making it convenient for visitors to access the trail.
With an elevation gain of 248 meters and a duration of approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes, this hike poses a strenuous challenge. Therefore, it is essential to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear.
