This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking area of Bettmerhorn. With a total distance of 14.456 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1587 meters, this hike is not for the faint-hearted.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Q-Stall, a bar located 3.21 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a quick snack before continuing your hike. Further along the trail, at 2.7 kilometers from the start, you will find Albi's Mountain Rock Café, a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the mountain views.

Midway through the hike, at 6.51 kilometers from the start, you will find Gletscherblick, where you can take in stunning views of the glacier. Continuing on, at 5.98 kilometers from the start, you will reach Hohbalm, another point of interest with valuable information about the area.

As you make your way back, consider stopping by Walliser Stube, a restaurant located 3.05 kilometers from the start, to refuel and recharge before completing the hike.

With various restaurants, bars, and viewpoints scattered along the trail, you will have plenty of opportunities to rest and soak in the natural beauty of the area.
