This challenging hiking route will take you to the majestic Folluhorn peak. The trail spans a distance of 8.364 kilometers with an elevation gain of 765 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
Starting off, you will come across an information point at the beginning of the trail, providing some insights into the area. As you make your way, there is a parking area conveniently located near the start of the hike, allowing for easy access to the trailhead.
About halfway through the journey, you will pass by the Parkplatz restaurant, offering a perfect pit stop to refuel before continuing your ascent. The trail will lead you past the Rosswald restaurant, although it is slightly off the main path.
As you approach the climax of the hike, the Folluhorn peak will come into view, standing tall at 4.18 kilometers from the trail. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit before heading back down.
Along the way back, make sure to check out the Gery Bar for a well-deserved drink and relax at the information point near the end of the trail. Remember to bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
