This extremely difficult 12.965 km out-and-back trail offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 572.0 meters, be prepared for a strenuous workout as you make your way to the peak.
Starting off at the trailhead, you'll pass by a parking area before reaching Palacio de Canedo, a historic manor located just 0.02 km from the start of the trail. As you continue on, you'll encounter various attractions along the way, providing opportunities to take in the surroundings and learn more about the area.
At the 6.48 km mark, you'll find yourself at the peak of Cerro de Couso, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful landscape below. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized throughout the hike.
