This hiking route will take you to the stunning Cerro de Couso, located in a beautiful area with various points of interest along the way. The trail is considered extremely difficult due to its length of 12.965 kilometers and elevation gain of 572 meters.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the historic Palacio de Canedo around 0.02 kilometers into the hike. This manor adds a cultural touch to the journey. Further along at around 0.11 kilometers, you will come across an attraction that is worth exploring.

Midway through the hike, approximately 6.48 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Cerro de Couso, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscape. Don't forget to bring water as the next drinking water station is located off the trail.

For sustenance, a restaurant named Prada a tope is situated at the beginning of the trail, where you can refuel before or after your hike.
