This challenging 11.961-kilometer hike will take you approximately 4 hours and 43 minutes to complete, as you navigate through the stunning Charbonnier area. The route is circular, starting and ending at the peak of Charbonnier.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead, just 0.43 kilometers from the start. Around the same distance away, you will find an information point called Fourche, providing insights into the area's history. Further along the trail, at the 4.22-kilometer mark, you will encounter a natural rock formation known as Trou-fenêtre.
Midway through the hike, at the 5.78-kilometer point, you will reach the highlight of the route - the Charbonnier peak. Take a moment to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from this vantage point before continuing on your adventure. At the same location, there is a wayside cross with historical significance.
