Welcome to the La Combe hiking route!

This circular route covers a distance of 8.559 kilometers with an elevation gain of 702 meters, making it a challenging hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 44 minutes to complete. The trail starts at a parking area and offers various points of interest along the way.

At the beginning of the hike, you will find information points about the area and Col de Taney. As you make your way through the trail, you will come across a picnic site and a bench to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. About 1.35 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a saddle, offering a nice spot to take in the panoramic views.

Midway through the hike, at around 2.78 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the peak of Chambairy ou Hautagrive, providing a fantastic vantage point of the area. As you continue, you will pass by a wayside cross, adding a touch of historic charm to your journey.

Closer to the end of the trail, at approximately 4.22 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water source to refill your bottles. And finally, as you make your way back towards the parking area, you will pass by another water point and a second saddle.

Due to the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sturdy hiking shoes. Additionally, check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
