This challenging 9.944-kilometer hike to Grande Jumelle will take you approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes to complete. The trail starts at a parking area and information point.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by a couple of water features located just 0.59 kilometers from the start—a refreshing sight early on in the hike. Continuing along the trail, after about 0.72 kilometers, you'll come across the Refuge La Vouivre, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Around the 3.93-kilometer mark, you'll encounter another water point before reaching Col de Taney, a beautiful spot that offers informative insights about the area at 0.1 kilometers from the trail. Further ahead at 4.83 kilometers, you'll find the peaks of Grande Jumelle and Petite Jumelle, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
The trail also includes various amenities such as benches, picnic sites, and viewpoints along the route. As you approach the end of the hike, at about 0.8 kilometers from the start, you'll find Restaurant du Grammont and La Vouivre, where you can relax and refuel after your adventure.
