Welcome to the hiking route to Échelle!
This trail is set in a beautiful area with stunning landscapes and challenging terrain. With a distance of approximately 5.97 kilometers and an elevation gain of 502 meters, this route is classified as difficult.
As you start your journey, you will come across "L'Alpage" restaurant, where you can grab a bite before hitting the trail. Continuing on, you will pass by the "Creusaz" parking area, which is perfect for leaving your vehicle before embarking on the hike.
Once you're on the trail, you will encounter the "Col de Pertuis" saddle at around 1.57 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a breather and enjoy the panoramic views. Further along, you'll reach the "Col de Creusaz" parking area, which marks the midway point of the hike.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the "Bassin de Pertuis" for a refreshing drink of water. Additionally, there are several information points scattered along the trail providing interesting insights into the local area, such as "Mont Bénand" and "Les Mémises, 245 millions d'années d'histoire...".
