This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Sattelberg area, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. The route is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 10.491 kilometers with an elevation gain of 514 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 42 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are no water sources along the trail. About 0.15 kilometers in, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the surroundings and the flora and fauna of the area.

Midway through the hike, at around 5.25 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic Sattelberg peak. Take some time to soak in the panoramic views before heading back. Along the way, you will find several benches where you can rest and enjoy a well-deserved break.
