This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Faalegi, offering beautiful views and a moderate level of difficulty. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 4.523 kilometers and an elevation gain of 274 meters, taking approximately 1 hour and 43 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the boundary stone Mugarrien 11. zenbakia, located just 0.23 kilometers from the trail. Further along the route, at the 0.67-kilometer mark, you will pass by the cave entrance, providing a unique opportunity to explore the natural formations.
Around the 1-kilometer mark, you will find the monument Joncs lepoa, situated on the trail, and the boundary stone Borne frontière #9, located slightly off the trail. Continuing on, at approximately 1.8 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Manttale, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, at 2.23 kilometers, you will encounter the peak of Faalegi, a perfect spot to take a break and admire the scenery. As you make your way back, you will pass by the ruins of an archaeological site, Cromlechs Mandale 1-5, and the castle Baionetako gotorlekua, adding a touch of history to your adventure.
