Around 1.82 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water source located right on the trail, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottle. Further ahead, at 2.01 kilometers from the start, there are more water sources available, as well as a restaurant called "Hotel Landhaus Nicolai" where you can take a break and enjoy a meal.

It is important to note that at 2.01 kilometers from the start, there is a milestone with historic significance, the "Königlich sächsischer Meilenstein," located just off the trail.
