This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Pfaffenkopf, offering stunning views and various points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling approximately 2 kilometers in distance with an elevation gain of 151 meters, making it relatively easy for hikers of all levels.

At the start of the trail, you will come across Gasthaus "Zum Pfaffenstein," a cozy restaurant just 0.03 kilometers from the beginning. As you continue onwards, you will pass by Terrassenhof, another restaurant at the start of the trail, before reaching the viewpoint Aussichtsturm and the ruins of Ehemaliges Vereinshaus des Bergschützenbundes around 0.77 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, you will encounter several peaks suitable for climbing, such as Abendwand, Bilch, Bundesfels, Pfaffenkopf, and more. These peaks offer a challenge for those looking to elevate their hiking experience.

Additionally, there are various other points of interest like the Goldschmidthöhle cave entrance, Opferkessel water feature, and the memorial Kriegerdenkmal 1914-1918 scattered throughout the hike.
