This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Route du Col de l'Épine. The trail is 8.627 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 406 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Chapelle Sainte-Rose, a historic wayside shrine located 1.83 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at the 0.81 kilometer mark, you will encounter the informative spot Chavaroche.
Along the way, you will pass by viewpoints such as Le Reposoir and another unnamed viewpoint at the 4.31 kilometer mark, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
For sustenance, there are drinking water stations located at various points along the trail, including one at the beginning and another at the 2.29 kilometer mark.
The trail also features points of interest like the Ruines du château de l'Épine at 1.32 kilometers, the Parking des Villas Doria at 2.46 kilometers, and the Route du Col informational spot at 4.14 kilometers.
