This challenging hiking route to Monte Alpe offers stunning views and a variety of interesting points of interest along the way.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by a drinking water point just 0.94 kilometers into the hike, providing a convenient spot to refill your water bottles. As you continue on, at the 0.81 kilometer mark, you will come across two more drinking water points, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your journey.
Further along the trail, at the 3.84 kilometer mark, you will reach Colle del Canile, a beautiful saddle point where you can take a break and admire the surrounding natural scenery. As you approach the halfway point of the hike, at 3.29 kilometers, you will pass by Barcabà, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on.
The highlight of the hike comes at the 4.95 kilometer mark when you reach the peak of Monte Alpe. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area, making the challenging ascent well worth it.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across several benches where you can rest and take in the tranquil surroundings. Additionally, there are parking facilities located at the trailhead for your convenience.
