This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning scenery and challenging terrain. The trail is a circular route that covers a distance of approximately 12.659 kilometers with an elevation gain of 712 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

As you embark on this adventure, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. About 2.64 kilometers from the start, you will come across some historic ruins, adding a touch of mystery to your journey. Continuing on, at 1.77 kilometers from the start, you will find the Refuge du Roc de la Pêche, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some rest.

Midway through the hike, at around 3.51 kilometers from the start, you will reach Alpage de Ritord, a cozy cafe where you can refuel and recharge before tackling the rest of the trail. As you progress, you will also pass by various water sources, such as Fontaine and other information points like Ritort and l'Alpage de Chapendu.

Towards the end of the hike, approximately 3.39 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a wayside cross, adding a spiritual element to your outdoor experience. Finally, at 1.77 kilometers from the start, you will reach another alpine hut and shelter for a well-deserved rest.
