This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the majestic Kogelseespitze, offering breathtaking views and a challenging adventure.

Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by Gasthaus Alpenrose, a cozy restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your journey. As you make your way up the trail, you will come across Kogelsee, a beautiful water feature located 3.13 kilometers from the start.

Continuing on, you will reach Südliche Bockkarscharte, a saddle point situated 4.02 kilometers into the hike. The trail then leads to Kogelsee Scharte, another saddle point located 4.29 kilometers from the start.

As you approach the final stretch of the hike, take in the stunning views from Kogelseescharte, a viewpoint at 2468 meters elevation, located 4.29 kilometers from the start. Finally, you will reach the highlight of the trek, Kogelseespitze, a peak standing tall at 4.88 kilometers into the hike.
