This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with a total distance of 10.185 kilometers and an elevation gain of 674 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 2 minutes to complete. Before embarking on this journey, make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast.

Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by Cabana de Rius, an alpine hut situated 0.06 kilometers from the starting point. As you continue along the trail, you will encounter several water features, including lakes and streams, some of which are located closer to the midpoint of the hike.

Around the 1.7 kilometer mark, you will come across Cabana Basses de Rius, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Information points are also available along the trail, providing valuable insights into the area.

The endpoint of this out-and-back route is Barraca de Rius, a beautiful destination where you can rest before making your way back. Keep in mind the distances to each point of interest as you progress through the hike, and enjoy the breathtaking views along the way.
