Welcome to the Sentier de Baumes hiking route. This easy out-and-back trail offers a pleasant 1.792-kilometer hike with an elevation gain of 152 meters, suitable for all skill levels.

The trail starts near Glion and takes you through beautiful landscapes, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest, including benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

About 0.41 kilometers into the hike, you will find a series of benches where you can sit and admire the views. Further along the trail, around 0.83 kilometers in, there are more benches for you to rest. Additionally, at 0.84 kilometers, there is a fountain and an information point for you to explore.

As you continue on, at the 0.9-kilometer mark, you will discover a viewpoint with stunning vistas and a restaurant called Buffet de la Gare nearby. This is a perfect spot to take in the scenery and perhaps have a snack before heading back.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to pack plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast. With its relatively short distance and moderate elevation gain, this hike is great for a leisurely day out in nature.
