Welcome to the Balcon Aérien hiking route!

Located in a beautiful area filled with natural wonders, this moderate 5.015-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a great outdoor experience. With an elevation gain of 355 meters, the hike will take approximately 2 hours and 2 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 1.45 kilometers into the hike, you'll discover the fascinating Chambre du Roi cave entrance. This unique natural feature is definitely worth a visit.

Continuing on, at around 2.51 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a stunning viewpoint where you can pause and take in the breathtaking scenery. Along the way, you'll also encounter the historic monument known as Ancien autorail.

The trail is dotted with various points of interest such as rock formations and informative displays about the local geology and legends. You'll find these informative stops scattered at different points along the route, providing insights into the area's rich history.

As you hike back, be sure to visit the archaeological sites and viewpoints that you may have missed on the way up. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
