This hiking route leads to the stunning peak of Talijanka, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The trail covers a distance of 8.637 kilometers with an elevation gain of 865 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by several points of interest along the way. About 0.53 kilometers from the start, you will find the Planinarski dom "Branko Kotlajić", an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some rest. Further along, at 0.56 kilometers, there is the Planinarski kamp "Branko Kotlajić", a campsite for those looking to stay overnight in the area.
As you continue on the trail, you will come across Eko-Katun Grbaje, a restaurant located just 0.03 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to refuel before tackling the rest of the hike. Along the way, you will also find drinking water sources such as Mulio Suljo, located at a distance of 0.0 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, at 2.85 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a natural spring, offering a refreshing stop for hikers. Continuing on, at 3.07 kilometers, there is another spring for you to enjoy.
As you approach the peak of Talijanka, you will pass by a parking area at the trailhead, making it convenient for hikers to start and end their journey. Finally, at 4.32 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic peak of Talijanka, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
