This extremely difficult 18.717-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the majestic Torrenthorn peak. The trail starts in a picturesque area with convenient parking facilities available. As you begin your journey, you will pass by a charming warm water fountain, a perfect spot to refill your water bottle.

Around 3.49 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the Briand and Alpengruss restaurants, offering a chance to grab a bite and take in the scenic views. Further along the trail at 8.77 kilometers, you will reach the highlight of the hike, the Torrenthorn peak, which boasts breathtaking panoramic views.

Along the way, you will find various amenities such as benches, fountains, and drinking water stations to rest and recharge. Make sure to visit the Lerchmatten viewpoint at 5.41 kilometers to enjoy a spectacular vista of the surroundings.

Although the trail is challenging with an elevation gain of 1595 meters, proper preparation with plenty of water and checking the weather forecast beforehand is crucial. Additionally, there are several restaurants and cafes along the way for a well-deserved break.
